Hazardous areas are divided into three zones
- Zone 0 :
- Explosive gas atmosphere is present continuously or for a long period.
- Zone 1 :
- Explosive gas atmosphere is likely to occur in normal operation.
- Zone 2 :
- Explosive gas atmosphere is not likely to occur in normal operation and if it does occur is likely to do so only infrequently and will exist for a short period only.
- ATEX-certified: The unique Delta II Cross-Over ATEX is CE approved and conforms to EN361.
- It is equipped with a front and rear fall arrest attachment.
- ATEX is additionally certified under the ATEX directive for equipment intended for use in a potentially explosive atmosphere using the standard EN13463-1.
