Overview

The DeWALT Challenger 2 Safety Boot is classed as B, S, & P - Basic Safety and Penetration resistant. The penetration resistant classification comes from the inclusion of a steel plate in the sole which is able to withstand the penetration of nails and other sharp objects, so protecting the wearer's foot.

DeWALT Challenger 2 safety boots are as ideal for workers in industrial jobs as they are for builders on construction sites.

Features that are standard in DeWALT Challenger 2 Safety Boots include a full-grain, leather upper tested for tear strength to withstand a minimum of 120 Newtons, a lightweight TPU outsole that is tested for tear strength, oil, acid and abrasion resistance and also is resistant to hot contact situations of up to 300 degrees C, a 100% breathable & waterproof GORE-TEX inner membrane, a steel toe cap that is resistant to 200 Joules toe protection and is compression tested to withstand a minimum of 15000 Newtons (approximately 1 tonne), a midsole mnounted steel plate tested to withstand penetration by nails and other sharp objects and an insock for increased comfort.
